Portland Excursion. Monday, October 22, 2007 |
Day one started with our departure from home and our arrival at the Hilton. Once situated, we departed to the first and probably most unlikely stop. The Vacuum Cleaner Museum. Yeah, that's right.
This is probably the kind of destination which seems a bit cliche when visiting portland; Screen door factory, vacuum cleaner museum, etc. You get the idea. But this is the kind of memory which you'll talk about, long after the walk at the park has faded. (Unless said park has a man throwing fountain.)
Food, Powell's and the "World's Smallest Park" we destinations this weekend. It was a a wonderful time, made all the more wonderful by the quality of company. ;)
And Bacon Maple Bars.
